Rain, Wind and Snow!

The last few weeks have seen a range of winter weather but still the deliveries are made safely.
Heavy rain and regular rural routes has meant that my van seems permanently dirty - the first picture below shows the track to one of the farms I've delivered to and its three quarters of a mile long!

We've also had high winds in the area and some of the lanes around Hungerford have suffered falling trees as you can see below - the solution was two wheels on the road, two wheels in the mud and just keep the van moving!

The recent snow was a challenge too but customers were very pleased (if not a little surprised) to receive their parcels.

Welcome to Rob's Blog.
My job takes me to some beautiful parts of the country and I see some amazing views and some of these are tweeted on my Twitter account @CallRob2 under #viewfrommyvan
I also meet some interesting people and carry some unusual loads. I've therefore added this blog to my site as an easy way to share information with visitors to my site and also to comment on issues related to the courier industry. Keep coming back to my site and check for updates right here on the blog.
